Wedding attire is formal. Ladies, long or short dresses are appropriate. Also be mindful of shoe choice as the reception is on grass, wedges or a thick heel are probably the safer choice. Fellas, you're welcome to wear a suit (ties optional). While we anticipate a beautiful 70-degree day, keep in mind while you're packing that we're on the coast and temperatures can get chilly, especially in the evening. If you're still stumped, here's some inspo: https://pin.it/Hc3fkzZwc
In September, Connecticut typically experiences pleasant early autumn weather. Average temperatures range from highs in the mid to upper 70s to lows in the mid to upper 50s. The wedding ceremony will be held inside while our reception and optional after party take place outside.
We strongly encourage utilizing the shuttle service to make transportation a breeze on the wedding day. There will NOT be parking on-site at the reception. Shuttles will take guests to and from the Blake Hotel, ceremony and reception for your convenience. See the 'Travel' section of this website for more information.
