Kristal & Brian

Wedding Party

Meet our wonderful family and friends that will be helping us celebrate the big day!

Kreig Manakul

Father of the Bride

Elizabeth Manakul

Mother of the Bride

Baraquiel Alegre

Father of the Groom

Zenaida Alegre

Mother of the Groom

Linda Garcia

Maid of Honor

I met Linda while working a promotion at a Nascar race, at first she probably thought I was super annoying with my happy go lucky outgoing promo girl personality. After getting to know each other we definitely bonded, especially over making fun of everything, including trolling people while wearing a butterfly costume. I started going out to bars with Linda before I was 21 thanks to a fudged ticket I would use instead of my ID. Any time we meet up we always joke that we need PowerPoint slides to keep us on track, we usually have 100 things to talk about. Not only do we connect about life but we connect about our work and career goals, she truly keeps me focused and motivated. Linda is one of the strongest, caring, detailed, and motivated people I know…she also can probably out drink you.

Neil Sevilla

Best Man

Neil, the N in PBNJ. I am an only child, so I don't have siblings- but if I had an older brother, Neil would be it. I look up to him as the cool older brother; the one who does all the cool things, owns all the cool stuff, and is also going to be a cool husband later this year too! I’d like to think he took me under his wing as if I were his younger brother- also because he always looked out for me like one. Let’s just say my twenties would've been totally different if I had not met Neil in college. We also both think alike, so we can already tell what the other person is thinking before they even say it- which means we can have a full conversation with inside jokes without even saying a word to one another. So yes, I already know what Neil is going to be thinking when he reads this.

Laura Wiesyk

Matron of Honor

I met Laura while we were working an Axe deodorant event in WI in the middle of Winter. We found out that we have a lot in common, we love traveling, getting dolled up, gal date nights, dranks, dancing the night away with our amazing moves… ohh and shopping! We used to have so many clothes and shoes we started having closet parties to trade items. There are our differences too - Laura is definitely the more responsible, logical, organized one of us. She also says meems and I say memes. These differences help balance us out and have created such a unique friendship. Even though we live states away our friendship always picks up exactly where it leaves off. Laura has been a true friend, she has made me understand the power of a friendship that overcomes time, differences, and distance.

Syeda Gavina

Matron of Honor

Syeda is my oldest life long friend. Our parents introduced us when we were in the second grade and our sisters’ crew have been close ever since. Growing up we were inseparable, hanging out every single day, playing at the park, and backyard until late. These habits definitely carried on to our adulthood as we continued to “galavant” around, spending hours at Target, driving to outlet malls, and getting fast food. Even though we are polar opposites we always love hanging out and each other’s company. Our friendship has lasted over 25 years...so yes we are very old. Syeda is a friend that I know will be there for me no matter what. She is also the most hilarious and entertaining mother of two adorable kiddos named Myles and Sydney. Who are like two mini best friends.

Shari Manakul

Bridesmaid

I am so lucky and fortunate to have such an amazing sister. Shari is the most caring, selfless, empathetic, overall great person. She has the best sense of humor and a great person to split some tea with. I guess we look like twins to most people, we were having dinner together and someone thought that I was Shari even though I was having dinner with her. Shari is also tired of people thinking that she’s Kristal from Jim Beam or other promotions. We can be different but something that we have in common is great taste! Actually Shari is a far better dresser and always knows the latest trends, I always have to check with her first. I am truly blessed to have a sister I can talk to about anything, share my thoughts and feelings with and I know she will always have my best interests at heart.

Percival Grande

Groomsman

Percy, the P in PBNJ. I call him P, Spicy P, or sometimes just Spicy! Percy is the most genuine, kind, and dependable person I know. I’ve known P since high school, and we’ve been best friends since. We were always together; if anyone saw us out without the other person, we’d always get the “Where’s Brian?” or “Where’s Percy?" question. I’d be good at causing trouble, Percy was always getting me out of it or putting me in my place- something a true best friend would do. Just as spontaneous I am, P is ready for any adventure- we've been to many games and trips all planned at the last minute.

Fatima Ali

Bridesmaid

Fatima or Fat (pronounced fah-t) is Syeda’s younger sister and the same age as my sister. We’ve been in this sister sister crew for 25 years and counting. We all basically grew up together, going to each other’s houses and playing outside. She somehow is always able to make me laugh by saying something incredibly blunt and funny. I also really appreciate how outgoing and social she is, she’s always around friends and trying new things. I know I can always expect a text from Fat if I am out in her neighborhood. At family events she has always been my drinking buddy in our sister's crew, especially at the holiday or birthday parties. She’s also a true animal lover and a great pet mom.

Jimmy Truong

Groomsman

I may have not known Jimmy the longest, but I probably have gone out to eat with him the most. Because we’d talk and joke (mostly joke) about EVERYTHING over food, Jimmy quickly became one of my best friends. I traveled plenty with Jimmy, so we have a good amount of traveling stories I will remember for the rest of my life (my personal favorite, Puerto Rico). We also share the same sentiments when it comes to fanhood with sports teams – so yes, we popped champagne together when the L.A. Lakers won the NBA championship last season. If Jimmy is not saving lives at the hospital or taking care of his pugs, there’s a good chance Jimmy is out on the dance floor mastering bachata, a style of Latin dance. There is a reason why we call him the “Bachata King”. Ask him for a dance and see!

Suzy Gill

Bridesmaid

Suzy is an outgoing, positive, fun-loving, and always down for a good time. I met Suzy almost 7 years ago working sampling events for Jim Beam. We have definitely come a long way from there, but are still working together at Jim Beam. We have had some amazing memories celebrating girls nights, dinners, soo many inside jokes, and traveling with our friends. Probably thousands of “cheers bitches!” There have definitely been some close encounters on our adventures like surviving a crazy uber driver, getting stuck in the desert, and scaring away a peeping tom, but it always works out in the end! Suzy truly makes me laugh all the time and has been an amazing positive friend. Our friendship is incredibly unique, motivating each other at work and still having a blast outside of work.

Johnnie Phothisene

Groomsman

Johnnie, the J in PBNJ. He's the athletic one of the group (he’s good at ALL the sports!), the best dresser, and the best person on the grill- he can also bake too! Johnnie was also my running partner on the regular. An early Saturday run at the lakefront or an outdoor stair climb was always on the schedule, even after a night of going out. Johnnie has a calm demeanor about him- he’s never too high, never too low. But for some reason, as calm as he is, he is usually the life of the party! Johnnie is the avid concert and festival goer of the group, so if you’re going to attend one with him, you’ll be in for a good time. Above all that, Johnnie is a true stand-up guy- but he’s also blunt, so he’ll tell it like it is...and that’s what I love most about Johnnie.

Astro "Entoy" Alegre

Best Dog

Astro was adopted by Brian in the Fall of 2018 and met Kristal on their first date in January 2019. When he first met Kristal he was so nervous he accidentally pooped in the living room! After that the three of them were inseparable and have many more hilarious stories together. Astro is a true pal, he loves eating Filipino food, playing with squeak toys, exploring the city on runs with Brian, working from home as Head of Security, learning German commands, taking naps, and cuddling. His best friends are Brian’s parents and loves running around in his vacation home aka their backyard. Astro Alegre will be escorted by Edgar Carillo.
