Twin Sister of the Bride. Yes we really are twins and no we are not identical. Although we both share an intense love of Star Wars lore, if you ever need an MVP on movie trivia or Star Wars catchphrase Katelyn is your gal. She is my favorite person to ask her opinion, and it’s always very helpful because she has the knack for picking the opposite of me, usually solidifying I definitely want the other option. If you think that sounds incredibly annoying, you’re right it is - just ask her. But I wouldn’t have it any other way, I LOVE being her twin.

Little Sister of the Bride. Aliya has always been a crucial member the sister trio, making sure we always had an excuse to watch Barbie movies, and belt Disney music and angry girl songs as loud as possible in the car. I love spending sister time with her thrifting, bookstoring, and coffee shopping. And I can always count on her for the perfect movie quote for any situation as she speaks the language fluently. Aliya has also shipped Forrest and I since the very beginning, even before we started dating. The first time I mentioned him in passing her response was: “Brianna Akers, huh that has a nice ring to it.” And you know what? She was so right.

Bride’s Best Friend from College. Some of my favorite memories with Erin were during the Covid years when we were stuck at home for what felt like forever, we would FaceTime in the background of our o-chem zooms so we could hang out and ask questions to each other like normal school. When we finally made it back to “Laradise,” Erin was our unofficial roommate and we spent every waking second together after that, watching FRIENDS, watching pride & prejudice, crying in the library, you name it. She is so easy to love, and gives the best hugs in the world.

Cousin of the Bride. Alli has been a part of my life for a very long time, and one of the only people outside of my sisters and her sister, that understand the obsession with the OG Barbie movies, even as adults. Whether it’s movie quotes or talks about dating and if we’d ever find “the one,” or bonding over our random passing out stories, we have always been close. I’m so grateful to have her in my life and by my side.

Bride’s Best Friend Since High School. Taylor has been my best friend since we were 14, and we’ve seen so much life together. From the very beginning she has been one of easiest people to love. My fondest memories are of our long hours playing just dance and MarioKart together, watching baking shows late into the night, trying and failing to make bonfire popcorn, endless boat days on the lake, and quoting Megamind to the point of insanity. I got to stand by her on her wedding day and now she will be there for mine. Many years of memories, and many more to come.
