FAQs

If you have any other questions, other than the ones listed below, please contact the bride at (309)386-5584. Thank you!
Question

Where do you want us to park?

Answer

Please park at the school in Bellflower and hop on the trolley we have provided for a ride out to the farm. If handicap and are unable to get on the trolley, please do not hesitate to let us know and we will provide you with reserved parking at the farm.

Question

What time should the wedding party arrive before the wedding?

Answer

You will be notified well in advanced if you are apart of the wedding party and what time your presence is requested to be at the farm for pictures.

Question

Do you have a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

It's a wedding, so have fun & dress up a little bit. We would like for our guests to feel comfortable therefore we would like to avoid a white-tie/ black-tie event and rather encourage a semi-formal, dressy-casual dress code. Just a heads up, the reception will take place in a grassy area outdoors. We are telling you this to ensure you wear the proper shoes to walk in. There could be wind, rain, etc. so please wear appropriate clothing and be prepared for anything.

Question

Can I bring a date or additional guest?

Answer

If your invitation (which will be sent out about 8 weeks prior to the wedding) says " & Guest", then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you. We ask only those who the invitation is addresses to, to attend.

Question

How important is an RSVP?

Answer

Very important! This will ensure the right amount of food is prepared and we are charged accordingly. Please RSVP no later than the date indicated on the RSVP card that will be sent with your wedding invitation (about 8 weeks prior to the wedding).

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

If your presence is requested/required, we will send a separate invitation. Otherwise, for our out-of-towners, please visit our "Things To Do" tab for suggestions on things to do.

Question

Do I have to stay the whole time?

Answer

No... but the dance floor will not be the same without you! :)

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

The closest hotel to our venue is about 10 miles away in Leroy, Illinois. Check out the "Travel & Places to Stay" tab for more information.

Question

What is for dinner?

Answer

We have a few different options. You will be given the option to choose when your RSVP!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

No. Unfortunately due to COVID we were forced to cut down on our guest list. The only children coming to the wedding are those in the wedding party. We apologize in advanced for any inconvenience.
