We’re getting married!

We’re getting married! Thank you for being a part of our journey and coming on The Adventures of Jake and Jenn with us. This story has been in motion for nearly all our lives, in some form or another, and we are grateful to be able to share our lives and love with you. They shared a classroom at Taft under the instruction of Mrs. Aguirre for a year before she would head to Castle View. We wouldn’t meet again until we started at Amelia Earhart. If you ask Jake, he will tell you: “I still remember the first day of 7th grade, seeing Jenn in her rolled up, maroon PE shorts and a pulled-back, grey Earhart Hawks shirt. The morning was foggy, we had first period PE and Jennifer hit us all like a ray of sunshine as she came out of the locker room and took her number near mine. I have never told her this, but I ran into a pole staring at her as she ran the mile once, most worthwhile bloody nose of my life.” That crush would go on to create the foundation for the future of our relationship, though we did not know it yet. Through high school, Jake and Jenn ran with different crowds. Jake’s life was consumed by marching band while Jenn maintained a more active social life. After high school ended, the world took us down different paths. Jenn went away to Santa Barbara, while Jake made his way to San Bernardino to pursue their degrees. It wasn’t until after college ended that the first adventure of Jake and Jenn began, when Jake saw that Jenn liked to run on Mt. Rubidoux, a popular climbing spot in Riverside. He invited her to try out rock climbing, and the rest as they say is history! We hope you will continue to participate in our adventures alongside us, we love each of you dearly and look forward to a lifetime of laughter and fun together. Love, Jake and Jenn
