It all started in a Keller Williams class in the fall of 2023. Gage needed a divorce attorney for a client (don't worry, not for him haha!) And I just so happened to babysit for one! Naturally, I raised my hand and offered the contact information. We exchanged numbers and then… nothing. Total radio silence. Fast forward to December. We became Facebook friends through mutual realtor connections (you know how it goes!) I posted about an upcoming open house but accidentally left a digit out of my phone number. Whoops! Within minutes, Gage messaged me to let me know. He says it was for marketing accuracy. I say it was God quietly working behind the scenes. From there, we started talking nonstop. At one point, he asked if we could switch to texting, not realizing he already had my number from that class. Smooth. In January, right around my birthday, he asked me out on our first date. By the third date, I made the first move and kissed him first, and that’s when I knew I was in trouble in the very best way. Over a year later, Gage proposed in Kyoto, Japan with the most incredible ring, custom-made by his dad! He is the absolutely love of my life and God gave me a man who is more than I could ever pray for. Looking back, it’s clear that God had a plan long before we ever noticed it. Sometimes all it takes is a missed digit, a little boldness, and trusting God's timing! We are beyond blessed to continue our chapter as a real estate team together where we first got our start!
In the fall of 2023, I was sitting in a Keller Williams class trying to track down a divorce attorney for a client, when this girl raised her hand with total confidence and said she babysat for one. We exchanged numbers and then went on our own ways. Fast forward to December. I came across her open house post on Facebook and noticed she had left a digit off her phone number. As a fellow realtor, I felt morally obligated to message her and let her know. Someone had to save the leads. She replied, and suddenly we were talking all the time. I eventually asked if we could move the conversation to text, not realizing I already had her number. Clearly, God had better timing than I did. I asked her out in January, and by the third date she kissed me first. We spent all our days together, and I knew God had sent me the woman I had been praying for. In April the following year, I proposed in Kyoto, Japan with a custom ring made by my dad, who’s a jeweler. She said yes before I could even finish asking, which thank goodness, because I almost forgot how to speak English for a minute. It turns out God was writing our story long before either of us realized it. A typo, a bold moment, and a lot of grace brought us here, and we’re beyond grateful to continue this next chapter together as a real estate team!
