Ladies: Opt for elegant and formal attire, such as floor-length gowns, cocktail dresses, or dressy separates. Choose timeless styles and colors that complement the wedding theme. Gentlemen: Dress to impress in well-tailored suits, paired with a button-up dress shirt and tie or bowtie. For a slightly more relaxed look, consider a button-up shirt with dress pants and a blazer. Dress to impress! We can't wait to see the sea of blues on our special day!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will promptly begin at 4:00pm. We invite guests to arrive 15-20 minutes before the starting time to allow a grace period for parking and locating Boyce Chapel.

Where will the ceremony be held?

Answer

The ceremony will be held at The James Petigru Boyce Chapel located inside the main building of First Baptist Church Columbia. It is fronting 1306 Hampton St, Columbia, SC 29201.

Where can I park at the ceremony venue?

Answer

Here are some options for parking at First Baptist Church Columbia: 1. On-Site Parking: First Baptist Church Columbia has its own parking lot available for visitors. 2. Street Parking: There is street parking available near the church. 3. Parking Garage across the church: We have reserved a parking garage adjacent to First Baptist Columbia on Hampton St for our guests.

Where can I park at the reception venue?

Answer

There is a designated parking lot available right at the entrance of Brookland Banquet Center which is adjacent to Brookland Baptist Church.

What if I can’t attend the wedding in person?

Answer

No worries! We will be live-streaming the wedding ceremony via a secure FBC-Columbia link. This is also to cater to Kristine’s family and friends located in the Philippines. The live-stream will begin 4:00pm EST / 4:00am PHT. The link will go live on the day of the wedding.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We highly encourage guests to RSVP as soon as you receive your Save The Date/Wedding Invitation or let us know before Sept. 9, 2023. You may RSVP under the "RSVP" tab of this website.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Here are some hotels near First Baptist Church Columbia: 1. Sheraton Columbia Downtown Hotel 2. Hilton Columbia Center 3. Columbia Marriott 4. Hampton Inn Columbia-Downtown Historic District 5. Aloft Columbia Downtown Please check their availability and contact them directly for more information and reservations. We also recommend checking Airbnb or VRBO. There are plenty of rentals around Columbia!

Can I bring a date?

If your invitation included a "plus one" or indicated that you can bring a guest, we would be delighted to have you bring a date to share in the celebration!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

If your invitation specifically indicates that your children are included, we would be thrilled to have them! We kindly ask that parents or guardians ensure their children are well-managed and supervised during the event. We look forward to celebrating with the whole family and creating unforgettable memories together!
