Every love story begins somewhere, and ours began long before we ever realized it. During our very first semester at Huntingdon College, we sat in the same classroom. We walked the same halls, shared the same assignments, and probably passed each other countless times — yet we only spoke one time. We had no idea that the person who would one day become our best friend, partner, and future spouse was sitting only a few seats away. Life went on, and we continued our separate paths… until December of 2023, when God decided it was time for our stories to finally meet. We matched on a dating app — a simple swipe that felt ordinary in the moment, but was the beginning of something extraordinary. Our conversations felt easy and warm, like reconnecting with someone familiar. It didn’t take long for us to realize this connection was different, special, and guided. When we hung out for the very first time, something beautiful happened. Instead of small talk or awkward icebreakers, we shared our testimonies. We talked about Jesus, faith, and the ways God had shaped our lives. That night felt peaceful, purposeful, and unlike anything either of us had experienced before. It didn’t just feel like a first hangout — it felt like God opening a new chapter. On January 21, 2024, we officially began dating. From that moment on, everything felt natural. Our relationship grew through laughter, late-night talks, prayers, and shared dreams. We became each other’s safe place, encourager, and closest friend. Then, on August 3, 2025, Jonathan asked the question that would shape our future. Surrounded by joy and love, we got engaged — a moment that felt like God’s promise fulfilled in His perfect timing. From classmates who spoke once, to a dating app match, to a Christ-centered love built on faith and purpose… this is our story. And we can’t wait to begin forever.
