Neighborhoods

The wedding reception will be held in the French Quarter, therefore we recommend that guests stay walking distance to the venue or within a quick 5-10 minute uber ride. Safe neighborhoods to look for airbnb, vrbo, or hotel rooms in include: French Quarter - make sure to keep off Bourbon street unless you don't plan on sleeping. Marigny - we recommend finding a location close to Frenchman's street, where the cute restaurants and shops can be found Central Business District/Warehouse District - more modern neighborhood here some locations are walking distance from the quarter, but be careful walking at night* Bywater & Lower Garden - Found a little bit further East and West, respectively, these neighborhoods lean more residential and are a bit quieter and affordable. Treme - Parts of the Treme are nice, try to look for locations south, closer to the FQ and the Marigny.
