Exchange Rate
The Lebanese currency is called "Lebanese Pound (LBP)" or more commonly known as "Lira". However, US Dollars is commonly accepted and used in Lebanon. Most services (bars, restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores, etc.) accept and use USD. While most places accept credit cards, make sure to have cash on you as some places don't. USD is commonly accepted but if you need to exchange money to Lebanese Pound, use the real market exchange rate (website https://lirarate.org/.)

1) Google Maps is more reliable than Apple Maps or Ways. 2) Get data package or a sim card for easy travels. 3) Restrict your travel to recommended areas. 4) Tap water is not drinkable in Lebanon (also avoid ice in your drinks) 5) Most importantly, enjoy the food and all that the country has to offer!!
