FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. Sandals and flats are encouraged as guests will have the opportunity to explore the botanical gardens before the cocktail hour. We thank you for not wearing fragrances, such as perfumes and colognes, for the comfort of guests with respiratory sensitivities.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 1, 2026. Thank you!

Question

What should I expect from a Catholic wedding Mass?

Answer

We are so excited to have all of our friends of different faith backgrounds celebrate our marriage with us! We will be having a full Catholic wedding Mass to celebrate the sacrament of marriage. We will provide programs to help explain the different parts of the Mass and the marriage ceremony. As we believe that the Eucharist is the true Body and Blood of Jesus, only Catholics in good standing are permitted to receive the Eucharist during communion. For all of our non-Catholic friends, please feel free to come up for a blessing from the priest or remain in your seats during communion. Additionally, a Catholic Mass involves standing, kneeling, and bowing at specific times. Non-Catholic guests should feel free to participate if desired, but it is also perfectly acceptable to remain seated respectfully during these times.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Yes, children of all ages are welcome at our wedding Mass and at our reception!

Question

What should I do if I have an allergy or dietary restriction?

Answer

Please list all allergies and dietary restrictions for each guest in the designated spot on the RSVP form. We will reach out to you prior to the wedding to ensure that all guests with allergies and dietary restrictions will feel safe and comfortable with our menu options.

Question

Can I walk around the botanical gardens?

Answer

Guests have the opportunity to access the gardens free of charge through the Atrium. Please return to the Atrium before the end of the cocktail hour. Food and drinks are not permitted in the gardens.

Question
