Every bride needs someone she can count on, and for me, that person is Karin. As my cousin, we’ve known each other our entire lives. Our story started with childhood rivalries, arguments over toys, and the usual cousin antics, but over the years that rivalry grew into an unbreakable bond and one of the most important friendships in my life. Karin, better known as K-Rex, is my confidante, partner in crime, and one of the most supportive, dependable, and caring people I know. Through every celebration, challenge, and milestone, she has always been there with encouragement, honesty, and unwavering support with a side of eye roll when I am being a bit “extra.” We are truly thick as thieves. She has seen me at my best, my worst, and every version of myself in between, and has stood by my side through it all. One of the greatest blessings of our relationship is watching our family grow. Karin is the amazing mother of Easton, who Andrew and I are honored to call our godson. Being part of his life has made our bond even more special. When it came time to choose my Maid of Honor, there was never a question. There is no one I would rather have standing beside me as I marry Andrew than the person who has been there since the very beginning. Thank you, for being my cousin, my best friend, and one of the most important people in my life.

As our beloved Godson, Easton is a quick-witted, kind-hearted ball of energy who brings so much joy to our lives. On the big day, he’ll be the one keeping the rings safe and likely "twinning" again with his Unc Drew. Whether he’s nerding out or diving into a world of imagination and creativity during his special time with Aunt Ashy, Easton is a huge part of our world. We couldn’t imagine starting this new adventure without our favorite guy leading the way!

Every bride needs someone who is always in her corner, and for me, that person is and will always be Sara. Sara and I met while working together at NJM in 2017, but it didn’t take long for a workplace friendship to become something so much more. Over the years, she has become my work wife, my person, my KGB comrade, fellow member of the Squirrel Squad, and one of my closest friends. No matter how much time passes between texts, calls, or visits, Sara has always been my person. Distance and busy schedules have never changed the bond we share. She is the kind of friend who can pick up right where we left off and make it feel like no time has passed at all. We share countless interests, but one of our favorite traditions is hunting down the coolest fandom treasures and trinkets we can find, carefully hoarding them until the next time we see each other and can exchange our latest discoveries. Through every celebration, challenge, and adventure, Sara has been a constant source of support, laughter, and encouragement. I truly would not be here let alone where I am today without her friendship, her love and her support. When it came time to choose my bridal party, there was never a question. I couldn’t imagine this day without my ride-or-die standing beside me. Thank you, for being such an important part of my life and for all the memories we’ve shared—and all the adventures still to come. May you always call Andrew “Boyfriend!”
