We're Getting Married!

Jack and Lily first met in high school, where they were friends for a few years before life took them in different directions. They reconnected a couple of years later when Lily was a college sophomore and Jack was playing junior hockey. That summer was filled with concerts, movies, and lake days before Jack headed back to Bismarck for his Juniors season. After a few months apart, they realized how much they missed each other, so Lily made a trip to visit Jack, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. They made long distance work from the Cities to Bismarck, and later to St. Joseph, spending weekends together whenever possible. They learned to support each other from a distance, Lily by traveling across rural Minnesota to watch Johnnie hockey games, and Jack by helping Lily study while getting free adjustments. Along the way, they discovered their favorite ways to spend time together—cooking meals at home, trying new restaurants, reading side by side, getting outdoors, and traveling whenever they could, including trips to their favorite places, Montana and North Carolina. Through it all, they became each other’s best friends. After Jack graduated college, they moved in together in Bloomington, MN, with Jack working in the corporate world and Lily starting her chiropractic career. They adopted their sweet dog, Harry, and have continued growing together as a couple, sharing lots of laughter, love, and life’s everyday moments. On a June 13th, 2025 Jack proposed to Lily while on a rainy walk with their dog. They can’t wait to celebrate their love with everyone!
