Well, we were supposed to be in Santorini, Greece, until you know, COVID. Once that was cancelled, we spent the next 4+ hours on the phone with Delta and changed our flights to spend a weekend enjoying the vineyards in Napa Valley, California. Yep, that was cancelled too. We then spent another few hours upgrading our flights to island hop in Hawaii! The next day it was cancelled. You get the idea. We ended up spending the weekend at Gurneys in Montauk. It was pouring the whole way there. Not only was Jess miserable since we were supposed to be in Greece, but it was raining! We were heading to the most beautiful beach in Montauk...in the rain. Nick spent the car ride silent, listening to Jess go on and on about the weather, but also a nervous wreck inside. Jess clearly wasn’t aware that Nick had booked and cancelled multiple photographers to capture THE moment, nor did she know THE moment was going to be today! While the engagement was supposed to be set up on the shoreline of the beach at Gurneys, it was set up beautifully inside in a private room filled with roses, champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, and music. He asked, she said YES! We decided on forever! We can’t wait to spend our special day with all of you!
