It's not a trip to Naples without a night out on 5th Avenue South! (or as locals call it... 5th Ave). There are dozens of restaurants to choose from! Some of our favorites spots are La Trattoria (classic Italian food, lively energy), Ocean Prime (if you're feeling a bit fancier), The Vine Room (speakeasy vibes, go for a pre- or after dinner cocktail).
A unique part of Naples, it has a zoo! You could easily spend a couple hours here looking at animals like African lions, Malayan tigers, Florida panthers (oh my!), giraffes, Bornean orangutans, and more!
Naples has some amazing white sand beaches! Beach days in Naples are one of our favorite things to do. There is public parking available at Lowdermilk Beach or the Naples Pier (if you go to either of those access points we recommend walking a bit further down the beach to get away from the crowds). Many local hotels also offer shuttles to the beach!
3rd Street South is another Naples local hotspot. Similar to 5th Ave, there are several dining and shopping options. This is also home to the 3rd Street South Farmers Market (Saturdays 7:30am-11:30am), as well as the starting location for the annual St. Patricks Day Parade.
Another hidden gem of Naples is its beautiful botanical garden. The Naples Botanical Garden is a 170-acre tropical paradise featuring themed gardens representing cultures between the 26th latitudes, including Brazil, Asia, and the Caribbean.
