FAQs

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes! We will be serving a few beer and wine options on our big night, but don't worry, non-alcoholic options will be available as well. We kindly request that our guests refrain from bringing their own alcohol, as this is not permitted.

Question

Can I smoke/vape?

Answer

Yes, but there are some rules! We are aware many of our guests use tobacco and nicotine products, this is totally okay. However, there is no smoking permitted under the pavilion or covered/enclosed areas. If you need a quick smoke break, please make your way to the parking area. It is a very short walk from the reception area. We kindly ask that all guests respect this rule as there is a hefty fine for breaking it that the bride and groom would love to avoid and we want to make sure our non-smoking guests are comfortable as well.

Question

What if i need help getting to the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony is a bit of a walk down a winding gravel road on the property. There will be a golf cart available for guests with mobility issues or those who might just need a little assistance. We ask that if you are capable, please reserve the golf carts for our older guests and those who need it most as there is only one.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

While we would love to include everyone, we have limited seating at our venue and can only accommodate a smaller crowd. We ask that only the people named on the RSVP be in attendance for our big day.

Question

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

We will be having pulled pork bbq along with mac'n'cheese, buttered potatoes, and garlic cheddar biscuits. There will also be water, sweat tea, and lemonade served. Most importantly, cake!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

As we are having a Sunday summer wedding, we encourage guests to wear their Sunday best in warm summer colors and florals. However we understand it will be hot since the wedding is outdoors, so comfortability is encouraged. Jeans, khaki shorts, and shorter sundresses are okay.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that all phones be silenced and put away during the ceremony. We have an amazing photographer who will be capturing the day. The bride and groom would also like to see your face instead of a phone.
