Jake and Alyssa met at a Wallyball tournament in early 2019. The tournament was doubles and round-robin fashion, where you played with everyone once and then were paired with someone for the rest of playoffs based on your score. It was a sign when Alyssa and Jake were paired together for the rest of the night and had the best time playing with each other. Jake even shanked a ball, and Alyssa went diving for it into the wall, resulting in a huge bruise. Alyssa dramatically used possible hospital bills from this injury to spark up a conversation with Jake a few days later, and the rest was history. Jake and Alyssa have been together for four years and loved every minute of it. They rescued the love of their lives, Ruby, in 2020, had a stint of living on the lake in an overpriced apartment for a couple of years, then bought a home together in 2021. Jake and Alyssa attended Alyssa's cousin Veronica's wedding in Priest Lake, Idaho in June of 2021. After a 6 AM paddle board ride where the lake was like glass and they watched the sunrise together, they knew this would be the place they would want to commit to each other forever. We can't wait to share this amazing place with our closest friends and family. We hope to see you there!
