Our story began on Eastfield Drive, where we both grew up, our paths intertwining from the very start. We entered kindergarten and attended school together all the way through to graduation in 2018. We were neighborhood friends, shared some of the same childhood friends, and in high school Adam used to even tease Olivia at times when changing classes. Our friendship started to grow while we were attending college, and we were both working at Quentin Haus restaurant. While cooking, Adam would slip Olivia jokes, even pickup lines through the food pick-up window while Olivia was waitressing. Eventually, he started leaving notes on Olivia’s car. Olivia could not help but be charmed by Adam’s persistence and genuine affection. Over time, Adam’s gestures grew more romantic. He regularly brought Olivia flowers and wrote heartfelt notes that he continued to leave on her car. Like the gentleman that he is, he genuinely tried to court her. Their first adventure as a couple took them to Gatlinburg, Tennessee in the Great Smoky Mountains. This trip was a turning point, solidifying their love and deepening their connection. As their relationship continued to flourish, Adam and Olivia realized they were true partners in every sense. After two and a half years together, Adam decided to take a bold step. Despite his fear of heights, he planned a proposal on top of the Empire State Building in New York City. Braving his anxiety, Adam led Olivia up the iconic landmark, all the while keeping his nervousness hidden. When they reached the perfect spot, Adam proposed, and Olivia, completely taken by surprise, knowing the keeper that Adam is, eagerly said yes. We are looking forward to our wedding and a future filled with love, experiences with family and friends, and the dream of someday creating our own family. Our journey from childhood friends to lifelong partners is a testament to our enduring bond and commitment to each other.
