The Casanovas

Jason & I met 5 years ago at a bicycle shop in San Antonio. We had been Twitter friends, but never made the time to actually meet each other. This meeting was just pure fate. Shortly after meeting, we exchanged numbers, & Jason (who says it was a mistake) gave me the wrong number! Haha But obviously that was quickly fixed. Easter was the first day we hung out. We can’t remember the actual day we decided to be together, so Easter became our anniversary. Our relationship consisted of bike rides, Spurs championship celebrations, going to Bonnaroo (which was Jason’s first time out of Texas), New York, Seattle, moving in together, Drunk nights, New Year’s Eve parties (where Jason was ALWAYS the first to knock out) & finally the big move to Los Angeles. Let’s also talk about how this sweet man proposed to me! I had no idea. I honestly thought we were going to the LACMA to take anniversary pictures. Then he gets down on one knee, pops the questions, and almost ALL of my best friends popped out of the shadows screaming. They had all been planning this for 4 months. I look through those five years and I appreciate that Jason stood by my side and supported me NO MATTER what. I’m lucky to have a loving and kind man to call my husband. I’m blessed to say that the love of my life is my best friend. I am so excited to grow into our next step as a married couple, and to be able to share that moment with all our family and close friends!
