Is there a dress code?

As we celebrate this special occasion in a Roman Catholic Church, we kindly ask that guests adhere to respectful attire for the ceremony venue. Our dress code is formal for the cocktail hour and reception. The fancier the better! We just request that you don't wear jeans.

When should I RSVP?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by the date listed on the invitations so that we can have an accurate headcount for the venues. You can RSVP by using this website or contacting us directly. If we haven't received your RSVP by the specified date we will assume you are not coming and we will mark you down as 'not attending'. After this time, there may no longer be space to accommodate the invitees.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive by 1:35 PM at the latest to allow time for parking and finding your seat.

Can I take photographs/video during the ceremony?

Answer

As we celebrate in a Roman Catholic Church, we ask that you kindly put your phones away and on silent for an unplugged ceremony. We are more than happy for you to take photos/videos once the church ceremony is over.

Will there be any vegetarian/gluten-free meal options?

Answer

Absolutely! We will be doing our best to make the celebration as gluten-free as possible. However, if you have any dietary needs please let us know immediately! We want to make everyone as comfortable as possible on our big day.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Only names that are listed on the invitation envelope have spaces reserved for them at the cocktail hour and reception. If you wish to invite additional guests to the ceremony, you are more than welcome to do so. We kindly just ask that you let us know.

We’re so glad you’ll be joining us on our special day! Your presence is all we need, so please don’t bring a boxed gift. If you’d like to contribute, we’d appreciate any support toward our honeymoon and house fund. Thank you!

Is there parking?

Yes! Parking is available at both locations.

Is this an adult-only wedding?

Answer

We’d love to have your little ones join us, but please know that this wedding is planned with adults in mind. The names on the invitation, including the little ones, are welcome and we kindly ask for your understanding in helping maintain a respectful atmosphere throughout the event. Please let us know in your RSVP if your children will or will not be attending.

Will there be kid-friendly meal options?

Absolutely! We are working with the venue so that there will be meal options for children under 12.

Will we be outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place indoors, followed by the reception inside. However, guests will be invited to enjoy the outdoor patio overlooking the Detroit River during cocktail hour. Throughout the evening, the patio will remain open for the outdoor dance area, offering the chance to sit, dance, and take in the night lights of Detroit.
