Jon and I may have met in a small town bar, with no real rhyme or reason, but little did we know how God's hand was in it all and how we would get to this season of life! Fun fact: Jon didn't want to date me when we met, but the joke was on him. Our first date was at the Italian Oven and Jon actually isn't really a fan of Italian foods, but afterwards I remember just sitting in the back trunk of his car having as many conversations as we could before it was time to part ways. The first year of our relationship was at a distant while Jon was at school in Virginia, and I was transitioning to a new school closer to home. But looking back now, we value that time so much because we were able to grow close and be challenged by the ups and downs of not being near each other. And when Jon moved back to Georgia and changed schools, the experiences we already had within that year made our reunion that much sweeter. On our one year anniversary, Jon and I attended a gathering at Passion City Church before we were going to have a day full of fun celebrations and I got saved! But that's another story ;) Now, as we approach almost 5 years together and reflect on all we have been through as a couple, it is a dream to be able to stand in front of our closest and dearest loved ones to say "I do" to forever together!
