Travel Note
Travel to the island takes about an hour and can be scheduled via the Catalina Express or Catalina Flyer website. Catalina Express provides service via Dana Point, Long Beach, and San Pedro. Long Beach and San Pedro have the most travel times per day. We hear that Costco sells tickets at discounted prices, which may be worth looking into.Those of you who prefer to travel from Newport Beach will need to book through the Catalina Flyer (which has much fewer travel times). IMPORTANT TO NOTE: •Be sure to book your ferry into AVALON and not Two Harbors. * Ferry booking for April 2022 will not open up until February 2022 but once it does open please book ASAP. Spots fill up quickly!

Just make sure to book a ferry to AVALON and not Two harbors!
