As much as we love your kiddos, due to venue capacity restrictions, this will be an 18+ adults-only celebration, except for those part of the ceremony.
Pocono Palms is very strict in that guests cannot arrive before 4PM. If you are driving to the venue, please plan to arrive 4PM or later!
Yes, the dress code is semi-formal. Everyone is encouraged to wear bright, summer shades to add a splash of color to our day!
For our friends wanting to wear heels - consider keeping them on the smaller side. The ceremony and cocktail hour are outdoors with some grassy areas.
Mt. Airy Casino is unable to guarantee early check-in. However, accommodations may be possible on a case-by-case basis. We recommend giving the hotel a call directly if you have a need!
Yes, there is a parking lot on site, but the venue does not allow cars to remain parked overnight. The venue is quite strict with its time constraints, so if you are driving there please try not to arrive before 4:00 pm.
Yes, we will have a shuttle bus departing from Mt. Airy Casino Resort at 3:45 PM. The bus seats approximately 50 guests and will return for a second pickup at 4:15 PM. At the end of the night, the first return shuttle to the casino will depart at 9:30 PM. A second trip will leave Pocono Palms at 10:00 PM to bring any remaining guests back to the hotel. The ride is approximately 15 minutes each way.
Pocono Palms recommends downloading directions to the venue ahead of time, as cell service tends to cut out near the venue. To avoid any issues with GPS apps, save the directions offline before heading out!
Late May in the Poconos is pretty mild, with warm days and cool evenings! The reception will be inside, but never a bad idea to bring a sweater or jacket for the possibility of rain, or a chilly night.
