We were looking for non-conventional and we found it! We loved the rustic vibe with a camp feel.
Our dress code is semi-formal attire—but with a dash of practicality! Our ceremony will take place in a charming, woodsy outdoor area, so we kindly suggest low or flat shoes to help you navigate the natural terrain with ease.
We have planned for the ceremony and cocktail hour to be held outdoors, followed by an indoor reception. In the event of inclement weather, particularly heavy rain, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be relocated indoors to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of our guests.
Plus ones will be indicated on the invitation by name or by guest. Additionally, when you RSVP through our website, you will have the option to RSVP for those included within your invite.
Please RSVP no later than August 1st.
As we have chosen a buffet-style catering arrangement, no meal selections are necessary. Additionally, since Camp Laurelwood functions primarily as a summer camp, the venue maintains a strict policy that no nut products are allowed on-site. Accordingly, none of our catered offerings will contain nut products. We kindly ask guests to honor this policy by refraining from bringing any nut-containing foods onto the property.
In factoring in guest check-in times and the distance between the hotel and Camp Laurelwood, we are only able to provide one shuttle ride to the venue. The shuttle will depart promptly from the hotel at 3:40 p.m., with a ceremony start time of 4:30pm. Guests who miss the shuttle will still have ample time to drive to the venue independently. There is plenty of parking! For your convenience, two shuttle departures will be offered for the return journey to the hotel at 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
In accordance with venue policy, Camp Laurelwood is a drug-free facility—including substances that may be legally permitted elsewhere. Smoking of cigarettes and cigars is allowed only in the designated fire pit area, located just outside the reception hall. We kindly ask that all guests be respectful of these guidelines while on the property.
