The Groom's personal favorite. It doesn't get much better. You know it's good when he can get his Bride (who is not a seafood fan) to eat here!
The Brides favorite. The cutest 50's themed diner you'll ever go to. This is especially fun if you're bringing those cute kids! Definitely get the Root Beer Float!
Balboa Park is where culture and nature meet. Lush grounds, from gardens to forests, fountains to playgrounds, and sweeping architecture from Spanish Colonial Revival to mid-century Modern span the heart of the Park. More than 17 museums filled with everything from dinosaurs to space travel, science to the study of humankind, photographs to old masters, and automobiles to orchids. Plays, musicals, orchestras, ballet, heritage dancing, song, and the World Famous San Diego Zoo, round out a vast array of things to see and do.
Located near downtown, this place is full of fun shops and restaurants right on the bay (Mr Mottos pizza is an awesome choice.) If you shop or dine here, you're only moments away from the USS Midway and the Unconditional Surrender (Kissing) Statue.
We know it's going to be too cold for you all to play in the water (unless you're super brave), but we know some of you would just love to play on the beach all day water or not. Torrey Pines has everything. The most beautiful (and least crowded) beach in the city, hiking, and a golf course. You could very easily spend the whole day here. Because it's a State beach, please plan to pay for parking. Torrey Pines is 20 miles up the coast from the venue, with limited food options so packing a lunch is a great idea!
Downtown has plenty of different options like the Gaslamp Quarter and Little Italy for dining and nightlife. Check out Salt & Straw in Little Italy if you get the chance.
