We're getting married!

Ben and Amberlee's story began at Berry College, where the two were assigned to work at Oak Hill & The Martha Berry Museum. It didn't take long for them to become friends, setting up for events together, giving tours, and running into each other on campus. Eventually, Ben started making daily visits to Amberlee's office, making her laugh and distracting her from work. He even asked her to go to dinner—but Amberlee somehow thought he was just being nice. A few 'friend dates' later, and Ben told her that he liked her, and not just as a friend. Despite being a bit clueless, she felt the exact same way.

One cool November day, Ben took Amberlee back to Oak Hill for a 'cultural events credit'. The two went on a tour together and walked through the beautiful gardens, stopping at Amberlee's favorite garden that's lined with cherry blossom trees. He walked her to the trickling fountain, got down on one knee, and asked her to marry him. With tears of joy in both of their eyes, she said "yes!"
