Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held at The Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark (pictured above). We strongly encourage all guests to plan to attend the ceremony, not only to witness the holy covenant through which we establish our marriage, but it is a beautiful and historic Cathedral, the fifth largest in North America, built in 1899. The celebration continues afterward at The Westmount Country Club in Woodland Park. Both addresses and times are linked on our “Schedule” page for easy directions!

Is there parking?

Answer

What should I wear?

Answer

We kindly request you wear formal cocktail attire — suits, cocktail dresses, or anything stylish you’d love to dance the night away in!

What happens in between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

After the ceremony, you’re welcome to head straight to the reception venue—cocktails and light bites will be waiting for you! If you’d rather use the time to check into your hotel, freshen up, or explore the area, that works too. We’ll be taking photos in the meantime, and then we’ll all reunite to kick off the celebration together.

Children are welcome if they are listed on your invitation!

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

If your invitation is addressed to you and a guest, then yes, we’d love for you to bring someone! Otherwise, we’re keeping the guest list to those named on the invite.

We’ve reserved a room block at the Best Western Plus Fairfield Executive Inn for our guests. To receive our discounted rate, please book through the link provided.
