Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, the attire is Formal. Floor-length dresses, suits, or tuxedos are encouraged—dress to impress! The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors (weather permitting), while the reception will be held in a tent.

Will there be transportation?

Answer

Yes, we’ll provide transportation to and from the wedding: To the Ceremony: Shuttles will depart from the Rod & Reel Resort and The Inn at Herrington Harbor. The shuttles will begin at 4:30pm with the last shuttle to the ceremony leaving at 5:00 PM. After the Reception: Shuttles will take guests to the after-party or back to the hotels beginning at 11pm. The last shuttle of the night will leave the after-party at 1:30 AM. Please note: Rideshares like Uber and Lyft may be difficult to book in the area, so plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive by 5:00 PM to allow plenty of time to find your seat before the festivities begin.

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes, free parking is available at the venue. However, cars must be moved by 11:59 PM on June 6, 2026. If you need overnight parking, please check options closer to your accommodations and take advantage of the transportation offered.

Are gifts expected or required?

Answer

Your presence is our greatest gift! But if you’d like to give more, please visit the Registry Tab on our wedding website for gift options.

Are there other events throughout the weekend?

Answer

Yes! We have a weekend full of celebrations including a Welcome Party on Friday, June 5 and a brunch on Sunday, June 7. Details can be found under the 'Schedule' tab on our wedding website.

Where should I stay?

Answer

A portion of our guests will stay on-site at The Inn at Herrington Harbor. If you’ve already been contacted about a room there, no need to book elsewhere! Otherwise, we recommend booking at one of the accommodations listed under the 'Travel' tab, including our room block at the Rod & Reel Resort. If you’re unsure, please don’t hesitate to contact us for guidance.

Where is the wedding?

All events—the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception—will take place at Herrington on the Bay (Polynesian Lawn): 688 Friendship Road North Beach, MD 20714 The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors (weather permitting), while the reception will be held in a tent.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to capacity limitations, we can only accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you’ve been given a plus one, it will be noted on your invitation and RSVP form.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We love your little ones, but this will be an adults-only celebration. Take the night off, relax, and enjoy the party!
