Click on the Travel tab for a list of recommended hotels and to book a room through our block at Hotel Monaco. There are many hotel options in the Old City area. Public transit and Uber/Lyfts are easily accessible. For those flying in, Philadelphia International Airport is a short 15 minute drive away!
Our ceremony is at Christ Church. Please arrive at the church no later than 3:45pm for a prompt 4:00pm start time. Our cocktail hour begins at 5pm at the Down Town Club and will be followed by dinner & dancing until 11pm. The Down Town Club is located in the Ledgar Building. An attendant will be outside to greet guests.
There will be a courtesy trolley available to take guests to our ceremony and reception. The trolley will be departing Hotel Monaco at 3:30pm to go to the church. The trolley will then take guests to the reception immediately following the ceremony. Starting at 10pm, the trolley will do loops from the reception venue to the hotel until the end of the evening. Parking is limited for the ceremony and reception. If you are driving, please plan ahead to park at the hotel or find nearby street or garage parking. Christ Church and the Down Town Club are also within walking distance of each other (~10 minutes), or a short 5 minute drive/Uber.
We kindly request formal attire. Men, we'd love to see you in a suit and tie. Ladies, an ankle or full length dress or dressy pantsuit. Please no jeans or shorts! Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors. Please note that the ceremony space is historic and is not temperature controlled. The reception space is air conditioned and heated.
Dinner will be ordered tableside. Please let your server know if you have any dietary preferences or allergies. There will be gluten-free options as well as vegetarian and vegan dishes.
The weather in May can be unpredictable! Late May in Philadelphia is typically warm or mild, and rain is possible!
