Question

Will I be receiving a physical Save-The-Date?

Answer

In an effort to save time, paper, and money we have opted to only send digital save the dates. This means that you will be receiving a save the date via email or text message.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is formal, so think along the lines of suits or blazers for the gents, and cocktail dresses, floor lengths dresses, or dressy jumpsuits for the ladies. We’re aiming for an elegant vibe, but don't be afraid to wear bold patterns and materials and express yourself through your fashion if that's what makes you happiest! For those who love some outfit inspiration, Ciara put together a Pinterest board to help spark some ideas. We can’t wait to see how everyone looks! https://pin.it/7nsgsOu0J

Question

Will I be able to bring a date or plus one to the wedding?

Answer

We're so excited to celebrate our special day with the people who mean the most to us. While we'd love to include everyone, we've had to keep our guest list intimate. If your invitation includes a plus one, you'll see "Guest" noted. Otherwise, we kindly ask that only those specifically named on the invitation join us so we can share this moment with our closest family and friends. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your kids, we’ve decided to keep our wedding an adults-only event. Other than the children in our wedding party, we kindly ask that no guests under 16 attend. With an open bar and the festivities we have planned, we believe it’s best to keep things grown-up. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

What is the setting of the venue?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will both be taking place indoors at the The Rundel Memorial Building. Located at 115 South Avenue, The Rundel Memorial Building is the original downtown site of the Rochester Public Library and was listed on on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. If you're interested in learning more about the history of this beautiful building, we recommend this post by the Monroe County Library System: https://www.libraryweb.org/rochimag/architecture/SpecificBuildings/Rundel/Rundel.htm

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

There may be free street parking on Court Street for the lucky ones able to find it. If not, we recommend the following two parking garages within short distance of the library: - Court Street garage, 194 Court Street Directly across the street from the library, $10 daily maximum - South Avenue garage, 39 Stone Street 3-4 minute walk to the library, attached to the hotel. $6 weekend maximum
