Question
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony and cocktail hours will take place on an outdoor rooftop (weather permitting) and the reception will be indoors.
Question
Will there be a shuttle?
Answer
Yes! We will be providing a shuttle to and from the ceremony & reception for those who book a room at the Chicago Marriott Northwest using our hotel room block link. The bus will be departing the hotel at 5:00pm. Please make sure you are in the lobby by 4:45pm to catch the bus. There are 4 other weddings staying at this hotel this weekend, please talk to the staff members there to make sure you get onto the correct bus! The bus will be making one trip back to the hotel at the end of the reception. If you did not book with the room block, please let those who did onto the shuttle first. If there is still room after those apart of the room block are on then you may join the bus.

Is there parking available?
Answer
Yes! There is a free over night parking garage in downtown Elgin just across the street from The Haight. Please make sure you park inside the parking garage and not in the gated police station parking lot. Parking garage address: 95 Symphony Way, Elgin, IL 60120

What time should I arrive to the wedding?
Answer
Our guest should arrive no later than 5:15pm to ensure that the ceremony can start on time. Please note that if you arrive after 5:30pm, you will not be allowed to enter the ceremony space.

What should I wear?
Answer
THE NIGHT BEFORE We would love for everyone to attend our welcome party at Pinstripes the night before our wedding. We ask that our guests wear an elevated casual outfit. We do ask that you refrain from wearing white. THE WEDDING The dress code for the wedding is cocktail attire. We kindly ask that you refrain from wearing white, jeans, shorts, sweatshirts or any casual clothing.

Am I allowed to bring my children?
Answer
As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception.

Can I take photos and videos?
Answer
The ceremony will be a tech free space. We ask that our guests are present and engaged throughout the duration of the ceremony. Although during the reception, we would love for our guest to help document the evening celebrations!
