When thinking about how we wanted to get married, we decided that we wanted the day to be centered on our relationship and to be surrounded by our immediate families. While we debated on having a more traditional ceremony with all of our family and friends, we felt that that was just not “us.” We also dreamed of a destination wedding that we would get the chance to include our passion for travel and explore a national park, hence the decision to be married in Shenandoah National Park.
We will be catering barbecue from Mission Barbecue. We hope you enjoy their delicious food!
Yes. Please carpool if possible as parking is limited at the venue. If you are planning on drinking alcohol before, during, or after the reception please do not drink and drive.
Please RSVP by May 1, 2025 so we can make arrangements to accommodate everyone.
While we love all of the kids in our family, we cannot accommodate children unless they are included in your individual invitation. We hope that parents and caregivers will have a fun and stress-free night, and will be sure to have some child-friendly games and activities!
Unless otherwise stated in your individual invitation (includes “and guest”), we are unable to accommodate any plus ones.
Although the reception starts at 5:00 pm, we understand that there are other things you may need to do that day. Because we value your presence, you can arrive and leave at anytime that fits your schedule. Dinner will be served between the hours of 6:00 to 7:00, so please plan accordingly if you want to be fed.
We welcome you to dress casually, or dress up if that’s what you prefer! Feel free to leave the sports coats and formal dresses at home but we do ask that you dress for the occasion.
We love our pets and know you love yours too! Our venue unfortunately does not allow pets, but we’d love to hear stories about them at the reception.
