How do I get to Breckenridge?

Answer

The closest airport is Denver International Airport (DIA), about two hours from Breckenridge. You can rent a car and enjoy the scenic mountain drive, or book a shuttle. We recommend Epic Mountain Express, and we’ve set up a discounted rate for our guests that you can find on the Travel page.

We’ve reserved a block of rooms at Hotel Alpenrock. You can book through our discounted link on the website, check the Travel page for more information. If the block fills up, we still recommend staying here as it's the most convenient location for all the weekend activities!

What's a house party?

Answer

The house party is a Southern tradition that honors close friends who play an important role in the wedding festivities without serving as bridesmaids or groomsmen.

Will there be transportation between events?

Answer

Shuttles will transport guests from the hotel to the ceremony at 4:00 PM and back to the hotel starting at 9:00 PM from the reception and will rotate throughout the night. If you’re joining the afterparty, a bus will leave at 11:00 PM.

What should I wear for Breckenridge in September?

Answer

Layers are key! Even sunny days can get chilly in the mountains, especially in the evenings. Comfortable shoes are a must for any outdoor walks or events.

What’s the dress code?

Our wedding is black tie optional! Feel free to dress up in a tux or a formal gown, or opt for semi-formal attire if that’s more comfortable.

Only our close nieces and nephews will be part of the ceremony, but we would like our wedding to be adults-only otherwise. Only guests who received a plus-one on their invitation should bring one.
