We are so excited to announce that we are getting married in Charleston, South Carolina on January 30, 2021! We will be having an intimate ceremony with our parents, siblings, and wedding party. We wish you could be there in person, but hope you are able to join us virtually to livestream our ceremony. We will be posting the link on this website in the weeks to come. Stay tuned for more information on our big ceremony in the future! We can’t wait to celebrate with you in person! Love, Jon + Cameryn
After much thought, prayer, and discussion with our parents, we have made the very difficult decision to indefinitely postpone our full wedding celebration. We are heartbroken that we can’t celebrate with you on such an important day in our lives, but we look forward to celebrating with you in the future. We are currently processing this decision and planning for a small ceremony with our families after the new year! We are so thankful for your support during this time, and we will share more details and further updates pertaining to this decision, our small ceremony, and our eventual wedding celebration in the coming weeks and months! We will also post all updates on our wedding website. We love you! Jon and Cameryn
Nowadays, there are many non-traditional ways to find your husband – but I was lucky enough to meet mine more conveniently in the bread aisle of Kroger. Knowing Jon, I’m sure he introduced himself, but after our brief encounter, all I could remember him as was the cute “Kroger Boy.” Now as I look back, it’s pretty serendipitous how many times my path crossed with “Kroger Boy” over the next few years. Whether we were at church, unknowingly coordinating a friend’s move via text, or flying on the same flight from St. Louis to Dallas, (and trust me, there’s more) – I continued to whiff on taking advantage of these chances. Fast forward to June 2019 and we were both living in Dallas, TX when I noticed a familiar face walk into a birthday dinner. Luckily, “Kroger Boy” re-introduced himself as Jon and this time I made sure to remember! Little did we all know 2020 would be full of so many unknowns, but Jon knew there was one thing that he could control. With the support of both our families (a few physically & a few virtually), Jon pulled off a perfect surprise proposal on the sandy beaches of Charleston, SC. Looking at this timeline, the Lord’s hand in our journey and relationship is so evident. His plan was and is far greater than we could have ever imagined. Thinking back to 2017, so much has changed for both Jon and I, and we are so thankful for the time we had to grow in our personal walks with Jesus as we prepared ourselves for marriage. We are incredibly thankful for the way He has woven our stories together and made what seemed like a funny first encounter and a grocery store nickname into the start of our forever together. We are so thankful for the many friends and family who have been a part of our relationship thus far, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you as we take this next step into marriage!
