We will include an online RSVP form to all guests as soon as invites have been sent out! More information will be in your invite on how, when, and what is expected! Anyone who does NOT RSVP by the deadline provided will be assumed a no show and not have a spot.
Unfortunately, we will be highly selective when inviting those under 18. This is because of location and budget. This will be limited to immediate family of the couple! Please do not take offense if your children are not included. There is no hard feelings for those unable to attend because of childcare and we'd encourage you to access our livestreamed ceremony to still enjoy!
As this is a smaller gathering, we will not be extending plus ones besides a select few. Your invite should state if you have a plus one, otherwise only those listed formally will be allowed to attend. Uninvited guests will be told to leave.
The wedding will be mid September - so anticipate potential rain or wind. Guests should air on the side of caution and bring cardigans, a light jacket, or coat. We would like that guests show up in dark wash jeans, skirts, or dress pants paired with a button up, nice jacket, blouse, or polo. Dresses and skirts can be cocktail length or longer. We would love to see our guests show up in our wedding colors- Green, Blue, and Orange!
Because of guest count, we do not have enough out-of-town guests to warrant a hotel block. We expect guests to find whatever accommodation works best for them. Please look under Hotels for local hotels, prices, and distance. If travel is a concern- contact the bride to work things out!
Yes! Both will be at Westgate. The ceremony will be outdoors and the reception indoors.
The venue is a 30 minute drive from Chippewa Falls, so we encourage guests to take travel time into account when preparing.
The venue is set in the woods, so finding the entrance might be difficult! There will be signage on the side of the road to hopefully guide you, then it's a straight shot to the venue! There is a shooting area prior to the venue, continue driving past that!
We will be expecting guests to transport themselves and will not provide shuttle services. The parking lot provided is spacious and free, as well as private. There is overnight parking available, and guests should have their cars out by the next day.
We encourage guests to arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony! Guests should arrive near or around 3 pm - no later than 3:15. Late guests should quietly seat themselves in the back row or stand to the side.
We ask guests to keep cellphones, iPads, and other devices away for the ceremony. We have a very expensive photographer - so don't worry about missing any memories! You also don't want to be in pictures with your face covered by your phone. We will be having a 30 second "take all the pictures you want" moment at the end of the ceremony for eager guests!
Cocktail hour begins at 4:15 pm and our last dance at 10:30 pm. We will be wrapping up at 11 pm. While this seems like a long reception- we do not expect guests to stay for the entire duration! Don't do an Irish goodbye, give us a hug on your way out! No hard feelings will be felt for guests leaving early.
Yes! Please let us know as soon as possible if you have any dietary restrictions or requests. If you have a preferred, and reasonably priced, meal from a local restaurant we can set up a special meal to be provided. If you're unsure if you need a special meal - contact the bride for more details on food. We will say guests who are gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian will want to contact the bride for alternative meal options.
There will be tabled hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour, followed by an Italian buffet with a selection of pasta and roasted vegetables. After dinner there will be several types of desserts as well as classic cake. We ask guests eat lunch prior to the ceremony.
There will be a CASH bar available for guests- so bring your wallets! Non alcoholic drinks will be provided for free. Outside alcohol is NOT allowed and guests will be turned away.
