It all began with a bee and a coffee date… Felicity and Tom first connected on Bumble, where a small bee icon led to a meaningful beginning. Tom invited Felicity to meet for coffee in Riverside, and what was intended to be a simple date quickly turned into hours of conversation. They bonded over shared passions, overlapping career paths, and aligned life goals. Tom, true to form, did most of the talking, while Felicity found herself both amused and charmed by his enthusiasm and personality. At the time, Felicity felt it was best to proceed cautiously. Having experienced past hardships, she chose to move forward very slowly—so slowly, in fact, that she suggested they remain friends. Tom, however, proved to be patient, thoughtful, and unwavering, continuing to show up with kindness, consistency, and genuine care. Through his steadiness, he helped Felicity realize that healing did not have to happen alone, and that some journeys are meant to be walked together. What followed were casual gym outings, an impromptu Sonic slushy run, and a friendship that gradually deepened. Eventually, Felicity decided it was her turn to take the lead and invited Tom out for a proper date—this time, a night out in downtown Riverside. From that evening forward, it became clear to her that Tom was the missing puzzle piece she needed. The rest, as they say, is the beginning of forever.
