We're getting married!

We both work at the same place and our friendship started soon after we realized we had the same name haha. We were both in relationships at the time and we were each others sounding board when we needed to vent. We would only talk at work on our lunch breaks, we didn't have each others phone numbers until one day Cierra walks by Tierras department and Tierra starts calling off her phone number. I guess you can say she was shooting her shot lol not knowing whether Cierra actually wrote the number down or would remember. 2 hours later while Tierra was on break Cierra: That's a mighty long break Tierra: Good to know you're paying attention Cierra: Always am Tierra: Duly noted And the rest is history. It's so amazing when someone comes into your life and you expect nothing of it and then all of a sudden them being there is everything you ever needed.

C proposed to T on our 2 year anniversary!! It was a At-Home Proposal. Cierra filled the house with candles and rose pedals from the front door entrance of our apartment to the bedroom. One of our favorite songs was playing in the background, Best Part by Daniel Caesar feat H.E.R. The rose pedals were shaped into a heart on the bed and the ring was in the middle of the heart. And on the wall above the bed using wall stickers read "Tierra , will you marry me". And of course she said yaaaasssss!!!

So Tierra decided she wanted to propose as well lol We had a regular in house date night like we usually do. Tee made dinner and we were watching the Cavs game. When the game went off we starting playing uno and for anyone who hasn't played uno recently, a pack of cards now comes with 2 wild cards that are completely blank and 2 wild cards that says swap hands. The blank ones you can write on them and you can write whatever you want (i.e draw 10 , take a shot) so prior to the day Tee had already went thru the deck and took out a blank one and a swap hands and had them hidden so when she dealt she slid the cards into her hand. When it was her turn she threw down a swap hands which meant she had to give the cards she was holding to Cee. And on the blank card she had written "Will you marry me too?" and by the time Cee looked up Tee had the ring already in her hand. Very fun night. And something that's funny now but wasn't so funny then. The ring didnt fit 😬
