The Future Mr. and Mrs. Davis met on a "blind date" to one of Roman's fraternity flag football games (each new pledge was required to bring a date) at Kennesaw State University. Roman shot Sarah a text and her list of demands was simple: Swedish fish, Diet Coke, and her best friend was tagging along! Their initial meeting did not go well when Sarah decided that a high five would be sufficient in place of a hug but the meeting faux pas was quickly remedied as they got to know each other, talking for hours in Roman's truck after the game. They started dating a month later, September 23rd, 2016. They continued to grow closer on weekly hikes up Kennesaw Mountain, shared classes, Greek life events, and their love for God & sharing the Gospel. The young couple threw caution to the wind when they decided to move states for the first time ever to attend Louisiana State University. Moving 7 and 8 hours from their respective comfort zones, their love and trust in one another continued to grow as they forged a new path for themselves and created their first place of their own. And here they are, 5 years later, getting ready to leap into a new season together. Truth be told, both Sarah and Roman thought that their relationship was initially a prank orchestrated by Roman's fraternity brothers; each thought the other was just too good to be true. It's something that they continue to joke about to this date... the longest prank ever!
