Like most relationships nowadays, Cady & Chris found each other on "the apps." While they both wish there was a better story, that's how it happened. The crazier part is how their paths crossed on that app in the first place. Cady grew up in Arizona, where she studied to be a nurse and eventually decided to pursue travel nursing. She bounced around the US on 13 week contracts - from New Orleans to New York before taking on her third stint in San Diego. While Chris grew up in San Diego, he had moved away for college, and then to Ketchum, Idaho before finding himself back in 'America's Finest City.' Their first date was at the Mission Bay golf course. Cady suggested it, claiming she had recently taken lessons and could teach Chris a thing or two. When she showed up with just one club, that's when Chris knew he shouldn't have shown up expecting any pointers. The next handful of dates happened in quick succession after that. Cady was working four 12 hour shifts a week, but they somehow managed to see each other almost every single day. Dates were often a 6am bagel or a 30 minute debrief before an 8 PM bedtime - and neither Chris nor Cady complained. Life was just more enjoyable when they were together. Cady eventually decided to extend her contract in San Diego - allowing the relationship to mature a bit before the inevitable question would come up "what happens next???" What happened next was what really brought the two together. After a couple months of distance, Chris and Cady moved in together in Seattle. Then they moved in together in San Francisco. Then San Diego (again). Then Boston. They traveled around, 13 weeks at a time, to their bucket-list cities - all the while asking the question "where do we eventually want to end up?" Out of all the places they lived and visited, the SoCal Kid and Desert Rat decided to call the rainy PNW home. Seattle combined all their favorite perks of being in a big city, along with the proximity to nature that both Cady and Chris couldn't live without. They fell in love with all the different neighborhoods, the mountain views, and abundance of trails. It's their pleasure to have you come celebrate not only their wedding, but a true next chapter of their lives.
