Our first date (vacation) after several years of long-distance was at the Bass Pro Shop Pyramid in 2021. Donned in masks, of course.

We were semi-long-distance in college and constantly looking for the next opportunity to see each other.

A second trip to Memphis landed us at the Memphis Zoo, with COVID stopping none of our plans.

Max always went the extra mile (literally) to come visit Jewelle whenever he could. The drive from Northwest Arkansas to Memphis is over 5 hours!

Whenever we went to see each other, a photo of us holding hands was almost always guaranteed.

Jewelle joined Max as a follower of Christ in 2023. This is a photo from the day of her baptism.

By 2024, basically everyone knew that Jewelle and Max would get married...except Jewelle and Max.

Seven years into our relationship, we became a college-educated couple!

Max was one of the first people racing to get a picture when Jewelle graduated from Rhodes College.

We fulfilled a common Southerner's dream of visiting Buc-ees, and someone brought a Polaroid!

Our last trip to the Bass Pro Shop Pyramid before Jewelle returned to the Northeast.

We took a trip to DC to explore the National Mall. It was Max's second time EVER in a big city!

We found THE ring in Rogers, AR, on our last vacation as a long-distance couple. The ring signifies a commitment we dreamed of long ago... and Jewelle's love of the color green.
