What is the dress code?

Answer

Black Tie Invited. Guests are welcome (and invited) to wear tuxedos and floor-length gowns. Black suit and tie or a formal cocktail dress is also perfectly appropriate.

Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

Chicago has two major airports: O’Hare International Airport (ORD) and Midway International Airport (MDW). We recommend flying into O’Hare (ORD) since it’s larger, has more nonstop flight options, and is closer to the Sofitel and the Magnificent Mile. Midway is also an option, but it’s smaller and located on the southwest side of the city, which usually means a longer trip into downtown.

Is transportation provided between venues/hotel?

Answer

Yes- Transportation will be provided from the Sofitel Hotel to Bryn Mawr Country Club prior to the Wedding Ceremony. Transportation will also be running throughout the night to return to the hotel. If you decide to drive, parking is available at Bryn Mawr. If driving or Ubering, prepare for traffic (add an extra 20-30 minutes to be safe!).

Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives you the chance to enjoy a fun night out with us! Thank you so much for understanding and making arrangements to join in the festivities.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

If your invitation is addressed to you and guest, we would love for you to bring a plus-one. Please be sure to include their name when you RSVP so we can prepare a seat (and a meal!) for them.

What time does the reception end?

Answer

The dance floor closes at midnight, but if you’re not ready to say goodnight, neither are we! Our after party kicks off downstairs at 12:00 AM and goes until 1:30 AM. Come keep the celebration going with us!
