Things To Do

We are thrilled to welcome our family and friends to the Petoskey/Harbor Springs area, Derek's hometown and a place very dear to our hearts! There are lots of ways to explore its natural beauty and charm, but below are a few of our favorites.

Mackinac Island

Mackinac Island, MI 49757

If you have the time, the ferry over to the island out of Mackinaw City is just 30 minutes from Petoskey and well worth the trip.

Tunnel of Trees

Michigan 119, Harbor Springs, MI 49740

Beautiful drive up Lake MI coast. Would recommend stopping by Church beach along the way, and ending your trip at Legs Inn.

Legs Inn

6425 North Lake Shore Drive, Cross Village, MI 49723

A piece of history and another staple with spectacular views and authentic Polish food.

Pond Hill Farm

5699 South Lake Shore Drive, Harbor Springs, MI 49740

Fun spot, one of our favorites, and they usually have live music. We recommend making a stop at Pond Hill Farm on your way to the Tunnel of Trees. If you hike to the top of the property's hill, you'll notice an old red school house across the vineyard, which was built by Derek's family.

Petoskey Farms Vineyard. Winery. Coffeehouse.

3720 Atkins Road, Petoskey, MI 49770

Beautiful views, wood fired pizza, wine.

Petoskey State Park

2475 Michigan 119, Petoskey, MI 49770

Mitchell Street Pub

426 East Mitchell Street, Petoskey, MI 49770

The Back Lot Beer Garden

425 Michigan Street, Petoskey, MI 49770

Gypsy Distillery

5251 Charlevoix Avenue, Petoskey, MI 49770

Our friends at Gypsy Vodka converted a beautiful old equestrian center into a fun space to have cocktails, food, yard games, live music, etc.

Stafford's Pier Restaurant

102 East Bay Street, Harbor Springs, MI 49740
