FAQs

Question

Talk to me about the altitude

Answer

Our venue sits at over 11,000 feet above sea level — which means the views are breathtaking… literally. At this elevation, even the fittest travelers can feel the effects. We want everyone celebrating with us to feel their best, so to help your body adjust: hydrate like crazy with electrolytes and consider skipping alcohol on your flight in (we know it's tempting). Staying hydrated in the days leading up to your arrival can help tremendously. During the reception, there will be supplemental oxygen and mountain medics on staff.

Question

Talk to me about flights

Answer

Aspen airport (ASE) is the closest airport to town (~5 mins), although most flights are connecting. Only American, United, and Delta service Aspen. When flying in, we HIGHLY recommend not booking the last flight of the day; heat and wind can cause delays and if you're the last flight in there's a higher risk of cancellation. If you're up for a scenic drive, you can fly directly into Denver and drive ~3.5 hrs to Aspen. Ashley is happy to assist with flight selection!

Question

Talk to me about transportation

Answer

Aspen is a very walkable town, and both of our hotel room blocks include private transportation as part of your stay. Complimentary airport transfers can also be arranged directly with your hotel prior to your arrival. Uber and Lyft can be spotty in town, but you can use the Ride Roaring Fork app to access free rides around downtown Aspen. If you're up for being active, the Transit app (https://transitapp.com) allows you to book complimentary 30-minute e-bike sessions at WeCycle stations around town.
