Our beginning

December 30, 2024- The day it all began.

I am Hannah, the Bride!! (I cannot believe I get to say that!!!) Samuel is the Groom (and he is to DIE for!) Our story may seem like a fast one, and admittedly it is- but when you meet us, you just KNOW we were made for each other. We actually met through my mother, Shelia. Her and Samuel have worked together for 7-ish years, and she never thought to introduce us. Samuel was with someone that he had to learn lessons from, and I was on my own journey to finding Samuel. Our life paths have been parallel for so long and FINALLY decided to cross December 30, 2024 when my mom sent me a picture of Samuel and asked me what I thought of him. I said he was cute, but why? We met December 31, 2024. The night we met, I tried a lip stain for the FIRST time (I'm a silly girl) and it was all over my mouth! I may or may not have introduced myself as "Hi! I'm Hannah, and I'm schizophrenic!" so he wouldn't expect much from me (i.e. the lip stain all over my face). We went on our first official date January 1, 2025, and we have been inseparable since. We went to eat at Taco Mac on our first date, and Samuel said he had the "feeling" when I was explaining the Autism Spectrum to him (I am a special education teacher and EXTREMELY passionate about individuals with special needs). We went to the Douglasville Mall after and watched the new Lion King movie "Mufasa." Neither one of us were ready for the date to end, so I invited myself (lol) to his apartment. He initially told me no, but reconsidered because he knew there was something special there and wanted to continue our date. I told him I had a movie he NEEDED to see (Saltburn-lol), so we went to his apartment to watch it! We didn't hold hands or anything throughout either movie that day, and we only hugged when we said goodbye that night. It was so sweet and pure- just like Samuel. Fast-forward to January 2nd, and I had the "feeling" while I was on FaceTime with him, but I did not know what the "feeling" was until a few hours later that day walking with my best friend Kelsey through Books-a-Million. (Why I trusted the feeling immediately? We had only hugged, so no form of intimacy was clouding my judgement in this scenario. I was so sure from the moment I had the feeling as I am now when I told Samuel yes!) From that moment on, the coincidences kept happening, and the more we talked the more our lives started to line up. We fell so madly in love truly from the second we saw each other. Shortly after meeting (a month and 11 days later to be exact) I had ankle surgery- I had fallen at work in December and tore a ligament in my ankle. February 11 I had ankle surgery, and this is also when Samuel became my full-time caretaker. I was not able to walk for 6 weeks after surgery, nor could I get up the steps at my parents house. So within a month and 11 days of knowing each other, he went from stranger, to best friend, to boyfriend, to caretaker. I stayed with him for the full 6 weeks while I was non-weight bearing, and he cared for me just like a husband would care for his wife. We knew during this time that we were absolutely meant to be!!! Fast forward to May 23, 2025, and Samuel proposed in the apartment! The apartment where all of our firsts have happened, where we fell in love, where he became my person, my best friend, and my caretaker. We are so excited to celebrate our great love story with all of our family and friends. Thank you for being a part of such a special time in our lives.

Our Marriage Ceremony

October 31, 2025

Samuel and I first met in my papa's house. Little did we know that 6 months to the day later we would also become man and wife in that very same house. My papa has battled bladder cancer for so many years. It has been the hardest and best fought fight against cancer I have ever witnessed. I have seen God remove cancer from my precious papa's body when it had gotten to end stage 4 and starting to take over his bladder and body. I have learned how to have faith even in the ugliest storm's from my grandfather. That faith served me well in the wait for my precious husband Samuel. I have always wanted my papa to marry me whenever the time came for me to get married. When we found out in early October that my papa's bladder cancer had come back and was growing rapidly, Samuel and I made the decision to have a small ceremony at my papa's house. So on October 31, 2025, with our parents and papa in attendance, Drew (my brother) married us. If you know me at all, you know how much I Halloween and this was such a God thing!! God has written such a beautiful story for Samuel and I, and we cannot wait to celebrate our love with our sweet friends and family in January! -With all our love Hannah & Samuel
