Nick and Keely met through the dating app Bumble. Both sick of "the apps" they weren't exactly thrilled for another awkward first date. That is, until they saw each other for the first time in the tap room of East Rock Brewery. From the first look, the smiles began (and they haven't really stopped!).

Nick wanted to go to the Central Park Zoo. Normally, Keely would have liked nothing better but she had just gotten back from an exhausting conference and wanted nothing more than to have a quiet day in. With the promise of a nice lunch out, they made their way to Central Park. After laughing at the monkeys and awing at the tropical birds, they made their way out of the Zoo. But, Nick just happened to see the rock where they took their first photo together! Despite her hangriness, Keely brudgeingly joined him to "recreate" that photo. Suddenly, he was down on one knee! Thankfully, he didn't take too long with the proposal and they made their way to lunch, engaged!

After 2 years of being in a long distance relationship, Keely and Nick are more than relieved to be spending the rest of their lives together under one roof in North Carolina. They have a dog named Julep, a black cat named Arwen, and a grey kitten named Totoro. They now spend their free time playing board games, bird watching, and planning their honeymoon to New Zealand. They can't wait to share their special day with you!
