From the moment Gus & Meli met, they were inseparable. She knew right away this was the man she would marry. He knew he wanted to spend everyday with her. They complete and complement each other. She loves to laugh at his jokes, and he loves to see her smile. He knew once he saw her curls he was enamored. She knew once she saw his hazel eyes she was captivated. They both love to vacation and want to travel the world together. They were so used to spending time with family, going out with friends, trying new restaurants, enjoying music at concerts, and catching a baseball game, to being stuck at home together for almost a year. COVID really put a pause on professing their love in front of friends and family. Here we are finally getting ready for the wedding day!

Melissa’s 40th birthday was coming up. They finally had a chance to have a large gathering. Gus couldn’t wait to surprise her with the most romantic proposal. While a guitarist was playing "Sabor a Mi," one of their favorite songs, Gus got down on one knee and asked Meli to be his girl forever. After a long embrace, she finally said YES! The happiest day of both of their lives.
