Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 5pm, so please arrive by 4:45 so that no one misses the bride's entrance.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

This is a formal event, but black tie optional. Dresses, button-down shirts, and slacks are recommended. We request no neon, white or denim. Though the reception is indoors, the ceremony will take place on a grassy lawn, so be mindful of your shoe choice (stilettos may be difficult). Please reach out if you have any questions!

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

We will be having an "Unplugged" Ceremony! During the ceremony, we ask that all phones stay put away so you can enjoy the moment with us. Our photographer will capture plenty of professional photos of the ceremony which we promise to share afterwards. At the reception, feel free to take pictures as much as you'd like! We will also have a photo booth at the reception to capture the memories on photo strips to take home with you!

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

If you are able to bring a plus one, your invitation will have "and guest" after your name. We cannot account for extra guests. Please contact the bride or groom with questions!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

You can access our registry through the tab at the top, or our Amazon registry can be found by following the link https://www.amazon.com/wedding/share/thatdangwedding

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is a parking lot at the inn. If the small area as you turn in is full, make a left at the end of the first parking lot, and there is a hidden parking lot past the trees.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have room blocks for our wedding at Lakeside Inn, so that is the main suggestion. Feel free to sleep in, and walk out to the ceremony to the right of the pool. Just mention the bride and groom's name when making a reservation, and they will honor the room block. Using the code Morgan-Bierley there is a 10% discount for your stay. If you are wanting to stay at a different hotel, there are a few bed and breakfasts in the downtown area. Brand-name hotels will be a bit farther away from downtown Mount Dora and will require driving to and from the event.
