Our story begins like a lot of others do these days- on a mobile dating app called, Bumble! We sent a couple messages back and forth before Tyler asked for my phone number so we could start texting. If memory serves me correct, we set up our first date the same day that we exchanged phone numbers. Our first date was Tuesday, October 16th, 2018. Tyler drove the 2 hours from Springfield down to Bentonville where we met at Undercroft for a drink. I was waiting outside the door when I saw him walking up from the parking lot. I smiled, thankful that he looked just like his photos on the app, and he waved and said "Hey, are you my bumble date tonight?", needless to say my face turned every shade of pink imaginable as all the strangers around us smiled. One drink turned into two and we found ourselves talking and laughing like we were old friends. We decided to walk down the street for dinner at Table Mesa and finish the night at Scotch & Soda. Neither of us wanted the night to end but Tyler had a 2 hour drive home and this is exactly how the next handful of dates went. Tyler always drove down to Northwest Arkansas to take me out to dinner before making the drive back home, but he would never leave without planning our next date. One month later, he asked me to be his girlfriend and the dates- adventures- and laughs haven't stopped.
