There are no direct trains to Tremezzo, so you’ll need to combine train, bus, or ferry travel. 1. By Train & Ferry/Bus • Take a train from Milano Centrale to Como San Giovanni (40 min). • From Como, take a C10 bus (45 min, departs frequently) or a ferry (1 hour, scenic but less frequent) to Tremezzo. • Tip: Ferries are more scenic but run less often; check schedules in advance. 2. By Direct Bus (Budget-Friendly) • Take the C10 bus from Milan’s Lampugnano Bus Station to Tremezzo (approx. 2 hours). • Tip: This is the cheapest option, but buses can be crowded in peak season. 3. By Car (Most Flexible) • Book a private transfer from Milan to Tremezzo (approx. 1.5 hours).

Hotel Bazzoni is the ideal location due to the welcome dinner, pricing, and easier group coordination. If you are looking into other options, we will be staying in the Tremezzo area.

How do I get around Lake Como?

Answer

Boats: Ferries connect major towns like Como, Bellagio, and Varenna. Water taxis are also a more private option. Trains: Trains run from Milan to Como and other towns, but not all are direct. Cars: Driving offers flexibility, but roads are narrow, and parking is limited and expensive. Buses: Local buses are affordable but can be slow and infrequent. Walking: Many towns are best explored on foot. Tip: Transportation around the lake can be challenging and costly, especially in peak season, so plan ahead! *Uber is available.*

We will be joining for dinner on Sunday night at N26 Ristorante, located at Hotel Bazzoni. We also welcome you to join us in Florence from Wednesday to Friday after the wedding to continue the celebration and explore the city together.

1. Historic Center (Centro Storico) • Best for: Easy access to top attractions like the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio, with everything within walking distance. 2. Oltrarno District (Santo Spirito, San Frediano, Palazzo Pitti) • Best for: A quieter, authentic atmosphere while still being a short walk to the historic center. 3. Santa Maria Novella Area • Best for: Convenient access to Santa Maria Novella train station and major attractions within a 15-minute walk. Airbnbs will be the best option, luckily the city of pretty small and walkable.
