Flight information

If you plan to fly to India just before the wedding, it is recommended that you fly into Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru. Most airlines fly into Bengaluru with layovers in Asia, Europe, or the Middle East. If you plan to travel around India before the wedding, Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai are other larger airports to fly into and explore India. To make it to the wedding, you will need to take a domestic flight from Delhi/Mumbai to Bangalore (3 hrs/ 2 hrs respectively).

Hotel information

Places to Visit in India

India is rich in regional culture, art and food. While it may not be possible to cover all regions, we recommend to cover 2-3 cities in North and South India. 1) Golden Triangle (North India) covers the three cities of Delhi, Agra (Taj Mahal) and Jaipur. If you are planning to arrive 3-4 days before the wedding, you could do the Golden Triangle and then take a domestic flight from Delhi to Bangalore for the wedding https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_Triangle_(India) 2) Places to visit in south India for art, local food, temples, heritage, and culture. Nishanth and I are both from the southern region of India and highly recommend these. a) Karaikudi (Chettinad Region) b) Fort Kochi & Kumarakom in Kerala c) Goa If we have enough interest from the group, we plan to have a curated trip to Karaikudi through Social Travel Pass - https://www.instagram.com/s/aGlnaGxpZ2h0OjE3OTY1NjAyODI0MjQ5ODUy?story_media_id=3046104113260339066_56785704831&igsh=MTljMnd5cnpxcXhscA== https://www.instagram.com/reel/CwZQe94OoZ1/?igsh=MXJ6YWhhbWx6OWttdA==
